Organisers have confirmed that the long-awaited transatlantic race will officially launch on Friday, January 24 at 10:00 a.m. (GMT), following final approval from renowned weather expert Simon Rowell.
The start will take place in Lanzarote, with boats departing from the dock outside the main marina office and One Bar, near the distinctive white and red lighthouse in the marina. Spectators in Lanzarote are encouraged to arrive early to witness the fleet prepare for its Atlantic crossing.
For international viewers, the launch will be livestreamed on Facebook from 10:00 a.m., allowing audiences around the world to follow the start in real time.

10:00 a.m. — Launch speech, crew introductions, and presentation of the Spirit of the Dash Award
10:20–10:30 a.m. — Boats leave the dock and begin their journey towards Antigua
With the final green light now given, anticipation is building for another dramatic Atlantic crossing as crews set their bows westward and begin the long voyage to the Caribbean.
