The 2012 Nelson's Pursuit Race offered interesting conditions and very exciting results. The overall winner was Peter Harrison's 115-foot Farr-designed Sojana with captain Marc Fitzgerald and helmsman Poul Hoj-Jensen. Finishing only 23 seconds behind was Farr 100 super maxi Leopard3, setting a new elapsed time record of 75 minutes and 17 seconds. Captain Chris Sherlock and crew were delighted to take home the Scrimshaw plaque along with their allocation of rum!
