Registration is gathering strong momentum for the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, with a growing number of classic yachts already confirmed for the 37th edition, set to take place from April 15–20, 2026.
Among the yachts already entered are Ticonderoga of Greenwich, Aschanti IV, The Blue Peter, and Saharet of Tyre, with additional registrations continuing to arrive each week. Entries to date reflect the regatta’s truly international appeal, drawing owners and crews from across the Caribbean, North America, and Europe.
As the fleet takes shape, the 2026 regatta is once again poised to showcase an exceptional collection of beautifully preserved classics, historic designs, and dedicated sailors. Participants can look forward to the regatta’s signature blend of competitive daytime racing and the warm camaraderie that defines evenings in Nelson’s Dockyard.
Yacht owners planning to attend are encouraged to register early. Yachts that complete registration and payment before March 1, 2026, will qualify for the Early Bird discounted entry fee. Registration is now open, allowing owners to secure their place on the starting line well in advance.
The Notice of Race has also been released and provides full details on eligibility requirements, entry fees, and racing format. Owners who are uncertain about their yacht’s eligibility are invited to review the published guidelines or contact the regatta team directly for assistance.
Founded in 1988, the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta has remained steadfast in its original mission: celebrating sailing heritage through a welcoming, sailor-run event set within the historic surroundings of Nelson’s Dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is this enduring spirit—both on the water and ashore—that continues to draw owners, crews, volunteers, and supporters back year after year.
The organizing committee looks forward to welcoming returning favorites and new entrants alike to Antigua for what promises to be another memorable edition in April 2026.
